Though Anita has not yet been in business long enough to qualify for membership in the Association of Author Representatives, she fully subscribes to their Canon of Ethics.

Submission Policy

We are not accepting any new queries at this time. We will be accepting work again in September 2008.  Thank you.

 

Anita is looking for new and established authors in the areas of romance, fantasy, mystery, mainstream and nonfiction (especially historical nonfiction). 

Authors who wish to submit to Anita may do so in one of the following manners:

Preferred:  Send a one page query letter via snail mail with an SASE.  You may include a two page double-spaced synopsis as well.  Send to:

Optional:  Send a query letter via email with a copy of the two page double-spaced synopsis in the body of the email (not as an attachment).

Turn-around time is approximately one month for queries and three months for manuscripts.

 

Give a short blurb about the story

Include your contact information (phone, address, email)

Provide information on any writing experience you may have or contest wins

Let us know if you have any experience that is pertinent to your story

Let us know if your manuscript is complete

Include a self-addressed stamped envelope (SASE)
